On our way from NYC to Va Beach, we're stopping by world's largest roadside attractions. We saw the World's largest incandescent lightbulb in Edison, NJ. The tower also functioned as Edison's research station. We also drove through Baltimore to visit the world's largest trashcan, but (alas!) it was moved! You can imagine the Waste Management operator's comic puzzlement when he met three girls who drove all the way from NYC to see the world's largest trashcan.
"Ha! You guys came all the way from NYC just to see the world's largest trashcan?!" he quizzically exlaimed. "Sorry, it's not here, but you might as well enjoy the inner harbor while you're here!" So we did.
