Call me crazy, but I enjoy fetching water. Many Ethiopians and a few volunteers have to hike a few kilometers away to aggregate their H20. I, however, am on the fortunate end; only having to fetch it from the spicket in my front yard. Nevertheless, the water comes every other day for about an hour in the morning, so it’s imperative you stock up the estimated amount you’ll need for that time. I have three large blue buckets for my collection. My compound mates have many more. Sometimes, at random, the water will not come for a few days. The past week has been one of those cases. Today, water finally came. It’s like a whole new life! I washed myself, my dishes, and finally got back to cooking in my house.
